Registration

Apnalaya is a Public Charitable Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 (Registration Number : AF2830-(C)) and also registered under The Societies Registration Act, 1960. (Registration Number : 75/73 G.B.B.S.D). Donations of local origin made to Apnalaya are eligible for Income Tax Exemption u/s 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act. Donations of foreign origin can be accepted by Apnalaya as per FCRA registration Number : 083780332.

Information provided by all Users needs to be true, accurate, current and complete as required by the registration form and promptly updated to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. The privacy policy covers exchanges of personally identifiable information within sites of APNALAYA. Kindly note that all the Registration fields are mandatory.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

For all online transactions and credit card payments, in case a request is made for refund, we agree to make the refund by reversing the transaction through our bank or the payment service provider. The charges for the refund would be borne by us in case of wrong deductions or error transactions.

APNALAYA collects personally identifiable data such as names, addresses and e-mail addresses that are voluntarily submitted by a user / donor when he/she wishes to become a registered user / donor of APNALAYA.

Personal information collected is used in the following manner. One of the reasons to collect information from users registering on APNALAYA is to create and maintain a donor database for future especially in cases of dispute.

User / donor information on this site is kept strictly confidential. The site may, however, use this information from time to time for purposes such as corresponding with the users /donors for various issues. We shall duly seek permission of the users in such cases.

APNALAYA would also use cookies to customise the services provided to the user. These are small amounts of data that are sent to the user's browser from the web server and stored in the user's hard disk. You are required to accept cookies wherever you are prompted to login. These are basically Zip codes received by the donor at the time of making a donation online.

APNALAYA does not provide any services or products to its registered users / donors. Hence APNALAYA will not be held responsible in part of full for delivery or any product or service.
