Apnalaya Inspires
Learn Reflect, and Engage
Creating dialogue on urban poverty and equitable development through a multi-dimensional lens!
For over 50 years, Apnalaya has worked alongside urban communities in Mumbai to address poverty, exclusion, and inequity. This sustained grassroots engagement has generated deep, practice-based knowledge on community health, education, livelihoods, nutrition, disability inclusion, and civic engagement—knowledge shaped by lived realities and long-term relationships.
Apnalaya Inspires is Apnalaya’s thought leadership and engagement platform that brings this experience into conversation with key stakeholder and decision makers from various different backgrounds like corporate, CSR, impact, academia, professional and experts. It is designed to move beyond programme updates to create informed dialogue on urban poverty, community-led solutions, and equitable development.
Grounded in five decades of learning, Apnalaya Inspires is grounded in deep learning and on-ground expertise, thereby sharing the knowledge and creating a credible voice contributing to how urban development is understood and practiced.
