“My journey with Apnalaya started in 2015. As I am from same community itself, I have seen the issues that people face. Growing up, I’ve seen my friends turn to drugs and bad company and I was certain that I wanted to study and not turn that way. After joining Apnalaya, I got chance to work with adolescents and youth as well as adults of my community who believe that there is no need of Education. Many of them used to says that “Padh Likh kar Kya hoga Mazduri hi karni hai”. Now, many of them are in college and have good jobs. Thanks to Apnalaya, I have also gained multiple skills and have gotten great opportunities, which has drastically improved my personal growth.”
